Congregants often seek advice from their pastors when they are confronted with legal proceedings, for instance, when a family member is arrested, yet pastors may have little knowledge about the justice system.

The Court-Clergy Conference will provide a forum for discussion of court procedures and processes that may be useful to you and other religious leaders such as:

..... an overview of the LA County Superior Court system and handouts that can be used as references in your future ministry,

..... an opportunity to listen to different panel presentations where judges offer information on different courts and their procedures, and

..... an opportunity to meet and interact with LA County Superior Court judges during lunch and break times.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be served; there is no cost for participating in the conference.

Please find an invitation to the conference from Presiding Judge David S. Wesley here http://bit.ly/1mgl16f.

Registration deadline is April 25th.

To register, please download and then scan or fax form with instructions found here http://bit.ly/Nst2Wy or, if you prefer, you can contact Marlow Gory at (213) 974-5422 or email mgory@lasuperiorcourt.org
