This information is a mission project that has been adopted by the Presbytery of San Gabriel. Your money funds the training more volunteers to install clean water systems, to teach the locals about clean water, and to buying the clean water system parts. There was an installeation of two water purification systems in Huanta, Peru November 2011 and communication for a third and fourth were established.
We are asking that each church in the Presbytery (PCUSA) support Living Waters for the World through this year's annual Golf Tournament in two ways. The first is to spread the world & encourage potential golfers to enter into the tournament. The second is to donate a silent auction item.

Clean Water U (CWU) is the training school of
Living Waters for the World. Located deep in the Southern woods of Hopewell Camp and Conference
Center in Oxford, Mississippi, and high in the Sierra Nevada mountains at Calvin Crest Conferences in
Oakhurst, California, Clean Water U is a simulation experience
designed to equip mission teams with the skills necessary to form partnerships
with communities in need of clean water, equip local leaders
to lead ongoing health, hygiene and spiritual education and
install the Living Waters for the World clean water system.
These
learning objectives are taught in three separate
workshops which run concurrently during the five-day session. A
church/organization therefore sends three or more representatives - at
least one participant for each workshop.
Graduates of
Clean Water U then serve as their mission group’s team leaders
in subsequent water-focused mission trips. All system parts, curriculum and
related materials necessary for successful completion of these trips are
available to Clean Water U graduates via our Fulfillment
Center, based in Louisville, KY, and are ordered online via this
site.
